Vincent T. Vacco, 81, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on June 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Syracuse, New York, Vincent was the son of the late Thomas and Elvira Vacco. He dedicated 33 years of service to Bristol Myers, where he worked as a laboratory technician before retiring in 1999.

In 2008, he and his wife made The Villages, Florida, their home, where they enjoyed retirement together. Vincent found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid golfer and bowler who also enjoyed trying his luck at the casino. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family who brought him immense pride and happiness.

In addition to his parents, Vincent was predeceased by his in-laws, Ralph and Jane Lanseros.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Donna (Lanseros) Vacco; daughter, Roxanne (Kenneth) Hood; son, Gregory (Rachael) Vacco; his cherished grandchildren, Ryan (Sarah) Delao, Tyler Delao, Cassandra (Brayden) Knight, Emily Vacco, and Jacob (Olivia) Vacco; great-grandson, Vittorio Vincent Vacco; sister, Virginia (Donald) Brown; niece, Elizabeth Light; and nephew, Justin Brown. Vincent will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his warm spirit, and the many wonderful memories he created with those who knew and loved him. His kindness, quiet strength, and love for his family will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.

There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass to honor Vincent’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 25, 2026, 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero.
