A 6.91-acre commercial property next to the Florida Turnpike that features a major hotel and a popular local restaurant was recently sold for $8.1 million.
The property was sold by North Star Florida Inn LLC to Shree Swaminarayan Realty LLC, on April 14, according to a deed filed with the Sumter County Property Appraiser’s Office.

Located at 1220 S Main Street in Wildwood, the site is situated near US Highway 301, right next to Florida Turnpike Exit 304.
The multi-acre property currently houses a Comfort Inn and Suites, as well as the Lollygaggers Sports Pub & Grill.

The 11,555-square-foot hotel is positioned immediately east of the freestanding restaurant space.
The 3,315-square-foot restaurant was constructed in 2007 and is engineered to hold 130 seats. That structure is complete with a functional drive-thru window.

Sumter County records show that North Star Florida Inn LLC originally purchased the improved property in August 2017 for $7 million from Emirates Investments LLC.
The sale of yet another large commercial property near The Villages came just 12 weeks after a similar, multi-million dollar real estate transaction.
In January, the Days Inn by Wyndham on State Road 44 in Wildwood was sold for $7.275 million.
More recently, in July, a large portion of Trailwinds Village was purchased by Publix for $32.5 million.
