To the Editor:
I think the installation of these RPMs is essential to the safety of The Villages. I presented my thoughts to my local district, and it was approved. However, others changed their minds after discussing the possibility of lawsuits.
The bottom line is there are too many golf cart accidents at night, and unmarked territory with poor lighting is a very dangerous situation. The cost is not the problem. It is the stubbornness and close-mindedness of the boards preventing them from being put in place.
