Odessa O. Parsons, 85, of Bushnell, Florida joined her husband, Dickie in heaven on July 15, 2026 in Inverness, Florida. She was born to James and Alda Todd on May 8, 1941.
Odessa was Baptist in her faith and attended the First Baptist Church of Webster. She was a classy, sassy, woman who was quick witted and had a big personality. She enjoyed playing BINGO, fishing, gardening, and family gatherings. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Matt Parsons (Ellen) of Zephyrhills, Florida, daughter, Tammy Whicker (Adrian) of Bushnell, Florida, grandchildren: Taylor Whicker (Alex Saddlemire) of Bushnell, Florida and Ian Whicker (Jill) of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and great grandchildren, Paytan Ann, Vandyr, Sawyer, Montgomery, and Ariah and many loving nieces, nephew, extended family and friends.
A viewing will be held at Purcell Chapel, Beyers Funeral Home on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a service at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Linden Cemetery, Webster, Florida.
