To the Editor:
My backyard is Morse Boulevard. I hate watching the cars speeding down this road all the time. I’ve seen suggestions about putting speed bumps along this road. While I believe this would be a great deterrent to these speeders, it would definitely not be a good idea for all the emergency vehicles.
This is a primary road to the hospital and for firetrucks. If these vehicles had to slow down for every speed bump, it could mean the difference between life or death. Yes, I’ve written in before about this road being dangerous, but this change would only create another problem.
