Richard Alexander Grabowski, 90, of Summerfield Florida passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025. He was born in Buffalo, New York on June 26, 1935, to the late Alexander Grabowski and Regina Grabowski. In addition to his mom and dad, he is preceded in death by his son Robert Grabowski.

Richard married the love of his life, Lorraine, on July 26, 1958 in Buffalo and they spent 67 beautiful years together. In earlier days, Richard worked in the trucking industry until he and Lorraine moved to Myrtle Beach, SC where they owned and successfully operated a lighting showroom until their retirement and move to Summerfield, Florida in 2007.

Richard was a very loving, faithful, funny and compassionate man who made an impression on many lives. He served in the National Guard and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Some of his most precious moments were traveling with his wife, family, and friends and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also an avid Buffalo Bills fans and seldom missed watching a game.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine, son Ken Ventell (Phil Fairey) and daughter Debbie Baird (Bobby); grandchildren Zack Baird (Nicole), Laura Holland (Dan), Adam Baird, Sarah Grabowski, Mitchell Grabowski and Morgan Grabowski; great-grandchildren Augustine Baird, Catherine Baird and James Holland.

Richard was an 11th hour volunteer for 5 years at Hospice where he received exceptional care during his final days. The family is requesting memorials be given to the Ted and Diane Brandley Hospice House in Summerfield, Fl. Service arrangements are being planned.
