Gillum cancels Villages appearance, picks up Morgan & Morgan endorsement

Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Andrew Gillum has canceled his Saturday appearance in The Villages.

The Tallahassee mayor cited concerns in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.

Both he and GOP opponent Ron DeSantis had been scheduled to appear Saturday in The Villages, but both changed their schedules after the devastating hurricane struck The Panhandle earlier this week.

On Friday, Gillum picked up the endorsement of notorious trial attorney John Morgan of Morgan & Morgan.

Morgan announced the endorsement in a video on Twitter.
