Marion County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 gray Honda sedan at the Quick King located at 16481 South U.S. 301, according to an arrest report. Deputies conducted the stop because they recognized the driver, 30-year-old Joshua Andrew Chandler of Summerfield, and knew he did not have a valid driver’s license. Chandler confirmed that he was a habitual offender.

A search on teletype revealed Chandler’s numerous suspensions including a habitual suspension on Jan. 28, 2015 for 60 months.

Chandler was placed under arrest and transported to Marion County Jail. Bond was set at $2,000.
