To the Editor:
If you are old, like I am, you remember back in the days at the end of the Vietnam War. Nixon, who had been elected to end the Vietnam War, was using Henry Kissinger to negotiate an end. He was having little success.
Meanwhile, John Kerry, with no official sanctions, was talking to Ho Che Minh in Paris. Kerry promised a better deal. The confusion between who represented the United States of America caused the war to continue for six more months, costing thousands of American lives. Why John Kerry was not charged with treason, I do not understand.
In older days acting against the government of the United States was called treason. Can you imagine FDR’s respond if someone else had been talking to the Japanese?
I heard in the news that John Kerry had been talking to Iran. What he promised to the leaders of Iran was that if he became president, he would offer them a better deal. Be patient, I will be president in 2020 and we will work out a better deal. Never mind that I gave away the farm in the Iran Nuclear Treaty, it will be better when I am president. He totally cut the legs out from the president of the United States. Again.
At some point, John Kerry must be charged with treason.
