Marine Corps League of The Villages seeking community support for Rose Program

Members of the The Col. Phillip C. DeLong Detachment of the Marine Corps League were out Saturday collecting for the Rose Program at Publix at Colony Plaza.

They’ll be out again on Sunday.

Lois Podoshen of the Village of Mallory Square makes a donation to the Rose Program of the Col. Phillip C. DeLong Detachment of the Marine Corps League. Accepting the donation are, from left, Les Burtnett, Tom Upton and Terry Spencer.

It’s part of the annual Rose Program that funds programs such as Wounded Warriors and helping handicapped children.
