The tractor-trailer truck was southbound on I-75 near Mile Marker 333 when it caught fire at about 2:40 a.m. due to a mechanical issue, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The driver, unharmed, was able to disconnect the tractor from the trailer successfully as the trailer became engulfed in flames.
