Reminiscent of the Gothic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, supported by exterior buttresses, the expansion of the iconic Villages Church on the Square on Spanish Springs Town Square into a performing arts venue is progressing with metal ballustrades holding huge pre-cast concrete wall sections in line.
From various angles around the construction site, interested residents gawk, snap photos and comment how quickly the building is progressing. One-by-one, a dual-cabled derrick lifts the massive concrete wall sections into place as other workers on the ground scurry to prepare wood planking and other building materials.
