Man accused of leaving Wal-Mart with cart full of unpaid merchandise

A 42-year-old man was arrested Thursday after he attempted to leave the Wal-Mart in Summerfield with a cart full of $300 worth of merchandise for which he had not paid.

Troy Levon Rushing was stopped by two of the store’s loss prevention officers, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Rushing is facing a charge of grand theft. He was booked at the Marion County Jail.
