A Wildwood man who had been ordered to stay away from Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza was arrested after showing up there Thursday afternoon.
Joshua James Hall, 38, of Wildwood, had entered the store around 4 p.m. and placed merchandise in his pockets, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. He then pushed a loss prevention officer at the store.
When a deputy arrived on the scene, Hall actively resisted the deputy’s efforts to put him in handcuffs.
Hall was arrested on charges of theft, battery, trespassing and resisting arrest. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
