A 33-year-old woman arrested earlier this month in connection with frequent Wal-Mart thefts, was nabbed with drugs this weekend while driving in The Villages.
Jessica Loren Hall, who lives on San Marino Drive in The Villages, was pulled over early Saturday morning when her speeding vehicle was spotted on Rio Grande Avenue.
Hall appeared “nervous” during a traffic stop, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The police officer discovered that Hall’s driver’s license was expired and she was wanted on a Lake County warrant stemming from a previous drug arrest.
A syringe was discovered in Hall’s makeup bag and a zippered pouch under the driver’s seat contained additional syringes. She was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Hall had been arrested earlier in the month after the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office released video surveillance of her captured at Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza. At that time of that arrest, Hall admitted she had been stealing from the store “almost on a daily basis” to support her drug habit.
