WILLIAM C. ANDERSON, 83, of The Villages, FL, died Sunday, June 2, 2013. He was born November 18, 1929 in Pennsylvania. He was a retired Engineer in the defense industry. He moved to The Villages from Maitland, FL 20 years ago. He was an avid golfer, bowler, loved traveling and dining with his friends. He was active with the Boy Scouts, and a member of the Scottish American Society. He participated in the Scottish American Games. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, The Villages, FL He is survived by: Wife: Barbara G. Anderson of The Villages, FL Daughter: Nancy A. Clancy of Vero Beach, FL Sons: William B. Anderson of Valrico, FL Robert C. Anderson of Daleville, VA David C. Anderson of Orlando, FL Sister: Jean LaMarr of Essington, PA 4 Grandchildren: Joshua, Mackenzie, Brian & Sean A memorial service will be held at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL Thursday June 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM with a gathering from 10-11:00 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
