Harlan had been beaten by MetLife during the regular season 13-9 which made this win a little sweeter.  Rookie Ed Kordus cracked two doubles with four rbi’s for winning pitcher Jim Glover.

Chick Cicatelli and Milt Hersey hammered doubles for the Gamers.

CAREPLUS FIVE RUN 6TH SINKS MULBERRY;

GENE LLAFET DOUBLE, TRIPLE TOPS STATS

CarePlus (3-7) threw its stethoscope into the ring for a shot at the Post Season Title by edging Mulberry Integrative Medicine (0-9) 14-13.  Gene “Gene the Hitting Machine” Llafet led the CP Pirates with three hits including a two and three bagger and two rbi’s.  Sub pitcher Bob Nutoni nailed the “W”.

Paul Noyes notched three hits and two rbi’s for the MulBees.

BABIARZ BAKES IHOP 16-10;

MORIARITY BIG DAY AT PLATE

Babiarz (5-5) upset IHOP (6-4) with the help of Ed Moriarity’s four hits that included two doubles and three ribbies.  Carlos Lopez posted the win.  The Babs will be swinging for a second post season win next week and a possible shot at the Title.

Lead off hitter, Denis Hodge, led the Hoppers with three hits.

The CP Pirates’ offense is led by Bob Roth and Dave Oatley (who will not be playing) while rookie Ed Kordus and Ed DeMaio spearhead the Harlies.
