Villager Marcia Gosline loved animals as a little girl and wanted to be a veterinarian.

She went on to a successful career in finance.

But now all of her loves and talents are being tapped as she and her husband Ed Livingston have launched Village Pet Spa.

Formerly known as the Village Paw Spa and located on five acres just outside The Villages on Rolling Acres Road, the business is being run by Marcia’s sister and brother-in-law Becky and Gary Williams. Her niece Katie Wallace and Katie’s husband Jason live on property with their three sons and are hands-on management.

“Pet lovers serving pet lovers,” is their motto. And love is certainly in the air at the facility which has undergone a huge makeover.

Village Pet Spa offers boarding, a special “cat corner,” a Doggy Day Camp and grooming.

They have instituted an impressive check-in system which track account pets’ special needs, including medications that they may be taking. Take the tour at Village Pet Spa and you will be impressed with all facets, including the staff members who clearly take great joy in seeing pets are cared for and loved in their time away from home.

The spic-and-span facility also includes spacious outdoor areas when pets came take time to feel free and perhaps play with pets of their same size.
