Villages Honor Flight will announce a major initiative  it is undertaking for 2014 at the Veterans Day Tribute to be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11 at Brownwood Paddock Square.

The planning process for the 2014 flights is well  under way and this announcement will highlight the steps to be taken by Villages Honor Flight to help assure that the 2014 flights are as successful as those previous in 2012 and 2013.

This event was chosen as the venue for the announcement due to the large number of veterans expected to be present.

“There is no greater pride for us than being able to contribute to honoring those that have sacrificed their very lives to secure our freedom.  Parady Financial Group is thrilled to support such an amazing organization.  Our hope is to raise enough money to facilitate the first quarter of  flights in 2014.” states Cindy Nazzaro, Managing Partner of Parady Financial Group.

Villages Honor Flight, a non-profit all volunteer organization, is a hub of the National Honor  Flight Network, a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for their  sacrifices.  Veterans are flown, without expense to them, to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials established in their honor and visit Arlington National Cemetery to witness the

changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns.  Each veteran is accompanied on the flight by a guardian to assist them and the guardians pay their own way. Villages Honor Flight serves veterans in Lake, Sumter, Marion, Hernando and Citrus Counties. More than 250 veterans will have  flown on a Villages Honor Flight since 2012.
