MULBERRY IN A MAGICAL WALK OFF WIN OVER SAGE POINT

MULBERRY 13  SAGE POINT 12

Mulberry came from 6 down in the 6th to tie Sage Point and scored 1 in the bottom of the 7th on Mac Macumbee’s single for the victory. Macumbee, John Wyks and Jerry Street all had 3 hits to lead Mulberry. Four others chipped in with 2 hits each. Chuck Bowman help the Mulberry cause by gunning 2 runners down at the plate. Sage Point was led Jim Stancil and Ron Rowe who had 3 hits each. Seven others chipped in with 2 hits each. Sage also played solid defense by turning 2 double plays and getting a great outfield catch from Ron Rowe.

METSIES MOVE TO .500
METLIFE 12  CAREPLUS 7

Larry Williams and Kerby Campanella both were 3/3 to lead Metlife. Three other players had 2 hits each while Fred Bruce(3 run) and Larry Williams( 2 run OTF) both launched home runs. Careplus was led by Jack Coit’s 3 hits and got 2 hits each from Joe Cataldi, Tom Montgomery, Bill Nesfield and sub Mike Bernbach.

HOPPERS END CEBBIES WIN STREAK
IHOP 5  CEBERT 3

IHOP put a stop to Cebert’s 5 game win streak in a tight pitcher’s duel. Pitcher Bob Iverson led IHOP with 3 hits, while Tom Ceglie, Bob Strolin, Jack Meagher and Dale Moses all had 2 hits. Cebert got 2 hits each from Bob Fowler, Bob Buchanan and Joe Critelli. Sub pitcher Gary Arnold absorbed the tough luck loss for Cebert.

FROSS& FROSS 11  PERKINS 6

Fross & Fross was led by Dean Watson’s double, 2 run homer and 4 RBI’s. Manager Terry Dolosinski, Mark Rich and Paul Hein all aided the cause with 3 hits. Perkins got 3 hits each from George Loew with Tim Carroll, Gordie Lewis and Jim Morton chipped in with 2 hits each.

SOFTBALL’S R GAME UPSETS HARLIES
SRG 13  HARLAN 6

SRG got it’s second win of the season led by Tin Healy’s 4 hits. Tom Bolte had 3 hits and 3 RBI’s while pitcher Ken Semmel helped his own cause with a 3 run homer. Harlan got 2 hits each from sponsor Bruce Harlan, Sarge Means, Jeff Stein, Don Fox, Marty Berger and Don Mulneix.

FALL ‘13 CHAMPS WIN AGAIN
3AMIGOS 13  BABIARZ 6

3Amigos continued their unbeaten streak led by 3 hits each from pitcher Tom Gilewski, Mark Hildebrand, Rod Severson and Alan Jackson. Hildebrand and Jackson had 3 RBI’s each while Hildebrand had 4 RBI’s. Manager Terry Cole helped the cause with 2 great catches in left field. Babiarz was led by Bill Naasz’s 3 hits  while manager Bob Winder, Gary DePalma, Mike Hoytt and Jim Kennedy all had 2 hits.
