Hundreds of people lined the streets of South Old Dixie Highway in Lady Lake on Saturday morning for the 9th annual Lady Lake Christmas Parade. The parade featured performances and floats from 58 different groups, a new record for the city of Lady Lake. There were quite a few Village mainstays in the procession, including the Villages Twirlers & Drum Corp, the Villages Cheerleaders, and the Villages Antique Car Club, to name a few.
The parade started kicked off with the American Legion Post 347 honor guard, followed by the Grand Marshall of ceremonies, Mayor Ruth Kussard. Performances from the Howard Middle School and Leesburg High School marching bands filled the streets with festive holiday tunes. The parade was comprised of dozens of floats from Leesburg, Lady Lake, and other portions of Lake County.
