
John Munro Macaulay, 93, The Villages, FL died on Saturday, December 7, 2013. He was born in Springfield, Mass. and moved to Florida 12 years ago from Monson, Mass. He was Protestant by faith. He was a member of the Newton Masonic Lodge in Wilbraham, Mass; Local 648 Union for firefighters, The Privates Club and the Springfield Fire Dept. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Mr. Macaulay loved hunting, fishing and was also a carpenter.
Survivors include his son Steven James Macaulay, Gulf Hammock, FL; 4 daughters: Bonnie Grace Martin, Tuscaloosa, AL; Betty Jean Sullivan, The Villages, FL; Sandra Lois Stansbury, The Villages, FL and Sheryl Lee Macaulay, The Villages, FL; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with Dr. Craig Martin, officiating.
