The Villages Twirlers performed in their first ever Gator Bowl Parade in Jacksonville on Tuesday.
It was the Twirlers second parade in as many days. On Monday, the Villages Twirlers performed in their fourth Florida Citrus Parade in Orlando.
“It was HUGE and a lot of hard work and now we are tired,” said Ann Pelle, captain of the Villages Twirlers.
And the Twirlers had some fans drop by and say hello Tuesday.
“We were approached just at line up by the Feature Twirlers from The Georgia Bulldogs!
They knew us from our yearly Twirling at Disney Twirl Mania International Twirling Competition and said they LOVE to see us each year! That was a BLAST,” Pelle added.
