Christy Kitt has been named general manager of The Waterfront Inn in The Villages.
She succeeds Jamie Ross who will be moving on to a sister property within JHM Hotels, The Residence Inn at Orlando International Airport.
Kitt joined JHM Hotels back in 2008 at the Waterfront Inn as a Sales Coordinator. She was promoted to sales manager in 2009 and in February of 2011 she assumed the role of director of sales. She was named Sales Person of the Year for 2012 which let her experience the fun of driving a BMW for a year as well as being a winner in the Presidents Circle for 2013 where she will get to enjoy a week in St. Thomas.
Prior to joining the Waterfront, Kitt worked for Universal Studios at Margaritaville.
Kitt’s husband, Hank Smith, is manager of Bonefish Grill in The Villages.
The couple has four children – 9-year-old Scout, 5-year-old Madeline and five-month-old twins. They live in Wildwood.
