-Don Barry, Celtics’ manager, reporting

Hi Celtics,

It was a seesaw game today. Usually in these games the home team comes out on top, and so The Pistons came out on top 10-9.  After scoring five runs in the first inning, we only scored one run in the next four innings.  This also happened in our first loss- gotta get that killer instinct.  I think the big play of the game came when Dick Roth caught that line shot to the LCF gap with two runners on base, and we had just taken an 8-7 lead. Roth’s catch stop us from expanding our lead to 10 or 11.  Good hitting day for Dave Bronte 3/3 and a homerun; Dave Snow 3/3; and Don 4/4.  Every game we’ve played has been a close, so I will take that 4-2 record and be happy with it.  The division is very well balanced even though the Kings and Bulls continue to be undefeated.  See You Guys On Thursday, Don
