The Sumter Landing Bicycle Club has expanded its scheduled rides in the Brownwood area. Organized bicycle rides ranging from a 10-to 12 mph social group to a 20 mph+ group are now leaving the Bradenton Recreation Center on Pinellas Place on both Tuesday and Friday mornings at 9 a.m.
Club membership is not required and guests are always welcome. Helmets are required. New riders are urged to arrive 15 minutes early.
“The Sumter Landing Bicycle Club is pleased to double the number of its days and rides offered to the residents of Brownwood. Safe and enjoyable cycling opportunities are growing along with the population South CR 466A,” said David Taylor of the Sumter Landing Bicycle Club.
