Gator’s Dockside restaurants, including the one in Spanish Springs Town Square, have added a surcharge thanks to the Affordable Care Act.
The 1-percent charge has been added to help pay for the cost of compliance under the Affordable Care Act. A restaurant spokesman said Gator’s wants to maintain its number of full-time employees.
Information about the surcharge is posted on the restaurant’s front door.
