Arthur “Art” Joseph Blais, 68, of The Villages, Florida passed away February 25, 2014 at his home. He was born on March 2, 1945 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Edmond and Germaine (Savoie) Blais.
Art proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Upon retirement, Art loved living in The Villages and he especially loved the game of golf.
Art is survived by his wife, Dolores Blais, The Villages, FL, daughter, Christine (Barry) Ludlow, Darien, CT, son, Arthur (Shannon) Blais Jr. Portsmouth, NH; two brothers, Edmond Blais, New Hampshire; Raymond Blais, Massachusetts, sister, Marie Cox, Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Sammie and Maggie.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice for The Villagers.
