Kenneth Zacharias, 65, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2014 with his family by his side. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Edith and Louis Zacharias, he lived most of his life in Philadelphia and Burke, Virginia.
Ken was an active and fun loving man who enjoyed his retirement years by being with family and friends, playing softball and golf, acting, and doing his daily crossword puzzles.
Ken was extremely loving and proud of his wife Carla, three children, Michelle Hunt and husband Aaron, of Pennsylvania, Larry Zacharias and wife Crystal of West Virginia, and Ron Zacharias and wife Jessica, of Virginia, and three step-children, Steve Pariso and wife Shauna of Florida, Stephanie Oppegaard and husband Michael of New Jersey, and Joanne Pariso of Florida. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren Kylie Oppegaard, Morgan Barrientos, Lindsey Hunt, Austin Zacharias, Paxton Zacharias, Ally Zacharias, Andrew Pariso, Sophia Pariso, and Dylan Zacharias, as well as his sister Ellen, faithful companion Murphy, and many loving friends.
