The Villages Twirlers and Drum Corps will be heading out Tuesday morning for their sixth year at The Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City.
This Strawberry Festival has been an annual event since 1930.
Guests come from near and far to enjoy exhibits of agriculture, commerce, industry, livestock, fine arts, horticulture, and crafts. The fabric of American life is woven into the Festival through social events, contests, youth developmental programs.
The Twirlers will be departing Spanish Springs depot at about 8:30 a.m.
“After our show I let the Team stay a few extra hours to enjoy the strawberry shortcake and all the crafts and fun there,” said Ann Pelle, captain of The Villages Twirlers and Drum Corps.
The Villages Twirlers gave a rousing performance this past week at the Brownwood Strawberry Festival.
