One week after felony charge dropped, Villages fire chief still on paid leave

One week after a prosecutor dropped a felony charge of child abuse against Mike Tucker, the Villages Fire Chief remainedon paid administrative leave.

District Manager Janet Tutt confirmed Friday morning that Tucker is still on paid leave.

Tucker’s attorney Ben Boylston said earlier this week he is hopeful his client will be back at work “sooner rather than later.”
