Sumter County Sheriff Bill Farmer was greeting guests at the door Thursday evening at City Fire at Lake Sumter Landing.
His deputies were busy waiting tables.
It was part of a fundraiser called, Tip A Cop. Diners leave tips to support the Sumter County Special Olympics program.
“It is always good to see so many people come out,” said Sheriff Farmer.
