Woody also drove in 5 runs in the rout. Arden’s managed only 4 hits and were led by Ron Robarge who had 2 of those hits.

In another 5 inning mercy rule game, SRG also had 3 hits from 5 different players and 4 RBI’s from Bob Nizlek. The 3 hits each came from Pat Perkins, Scott Marshall, Greg Gilbert, Paul Schaffer and Doug Nantais. Gary DePalma had 3 hits to lead Babiarz.
HUMANA 19 CEBERT 17
Humana built a big lead and survived a 5 run 7th inning by Cebert to hang on for the victory. The win was paced by Dave Oatley’s 4 hits and 2 RBI’s, while John Hoover(4RBI’s) and Jim Kennedy each chipped in with 3 hits. Cebert was led 5 players who had 3 hits, Bill Dunkley, Barry Stewart, Bob Buchanan(3 RBI’s), Dave Strzelecki and Ralph Furbush. Bob Cramer helped Cebert with 4 RBI’s.
3AMIGOS 18 IHOP 9
3Amigos doubled up IHOP behind a 2 home run 6 RBI day from Mark Hildebrand. They also had 3 hits each from manager Terry Cole and winning pitcher Tom Gilewski. Paul Justice had 4 hits for IHOP while Tom Ceglie had 3 hits and Terry Yanny hit a home run.
SAGE POINT 16 MULBERRY 15
Sage Point scored in the bottom of the 7th for the walk off victory. They were led by Dave Pope who had 4 hits and 3 RBI’s and Mike Labetti who had 4 RBI’s. In addition, Sage got 3 hits each from John Gouin, Ron Rowe and Carl McWilliams(3 RBI’s). Mulberry was led by Chuck Bowman’s 4 hits and Jim Walter’s 4 RBI’s. They also got 3 hits from Tom Winegarden.
METLIFE 16 HARLAN 14
Metlife built a 10 run lead and had to fight off a strong comeback from Harlan to hang on for the victory. Metlife got a 4 hit day from Ed Wyks and 3 hits each from Paul Noyes and winning pitcher Harold Holiman(3 RBI’s). Rich Hopkins had a home run and 5 other players chipped in with 2 hits each. Harlan got 4 RBI’s from Mike Bernbach and 3 hits each from Chick Cicatelli, Craig Dahlquist and Gerry Street.
