A 56-year-old Michigan woman was arrested on a charge of grand theft after allegedly taking nearly $2,000 worth of items from Belk on Bichara Boulevard in The Villages.
Susan Carol Cortis of Chesterfield, Mich. is accused of stealing purses, cosmetics, sunglasses and other items from the store Wednesday afternoon, according to a Lady Lake police report.
Cortis was taken to the Lake County Jail and was released after posting $2,000 bond.
