The ninth annual Hurricane Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Savannah Center.
The event is free to the public.
Hurricane season begins June 1.
The event offers an opportunity to learn more about hurricane preparedness.
The event, sponsored by the Villages Public Safety Department, will feature information about insurance, disaster supply kits and information about inland threats and hazards.
Bruce Thomas, chief meteorologist at Midland Radio, will be on hand to assist with the programming of weather radios.
