Charlie Crist’s rival for the Democratic nomination for governor is coming to The Villages.
Nan Rich will address the Democratic Club of The Villages at 10 a.m. June 14 at Colony Recreation Center.
Rich served as Senate Minority Leader from 2010 to 2012 and was term-limited out of the senate in 2012. She served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2000 to 2004.
Rich has been hounding Crist, demanding that he debate her. Crist, a former Republican turned Democrat, is the Democratic favorite to take on Gov. Rick Scott in November.
But first, Crist has to get by Rich. The primary is Aug. 26.
All Villagers are welcome but club members will be seated first.
