Sumter County Veteran Services has completed installation of newly dedicated bricks in the Veterans’ Memorial park located on the west side of the Historic Courthouse in Bushnell. This park serves as a tribute to the men and women who courageously served the country.
Anyone interested in ordering a brick for either a living or deceased veteran can contact Sumter County Veteran Services at (352) 689-4450. Each brick is inscribed with the veteran’s name, service branch, and dates of service. The cost is $50 per brick and must be ordered by July 1, to be installed by Veterans Day.
