William Henry Aldsworth, age 80, of The Villages passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 in The Villages, FL. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and came to The Villages 18 years ago from Staten Island, New York. Mr. Aldsworth was a retired Bus Driver for the Manhatten and Bronx Surface Transit Operation Authority and a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, Lady Lake; Charter member of The Villages Harmonica Club; Irish Club and Italian-American Club both of The Villages. Surviving are his Loving wife: Louise D. Aldsworth, The Villages; Brother: James Aldsworth, The Villages, FL; Sister: Eileen (Patrick) Sweeney, Staten Island, NY; Sister in Law: Jean (Sebastian) Pintagro, The Villages, FL; Brother in Law: Matthew (Dorothy) Schaffner, Phoenix, AZ. And many nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 8:30 AM Friday, May 30, 2014 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Lady Lake, FL. Friends may call from 2-4:00 P.M. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Homes. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. following the Mass.
