
Paul Martin Roberts, 92, of The Villages, Florida, passed from this life Saturday, May 24, 2014. Paul was born in Chicago, IL and was a graduate of Cornell College, Mount Vernon. Iowa. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was a Second Lieutenant and piloted B-17 aircraft. Following the War, he was an engineer and manager for Western Electric Co. retiring in 1981. Paul moved from Englewood, FL to The Villages, FL in 2005. Of the Methodist faith, he was a member of New Covenant United Methodist Church, The Villages. He enjoyed golf, fishing, playing bridge and watching sports. He was most proud of the nearly 70 years of marriage to his wife Anita and family. Paul leaves his wife, Anita Roberts, sons. James L. Roberts of Orlando, FL, Thomas P. Roberts of Park City, Utah, 4 grandchildren, Christin, Marie, Paul and Miles and 13 great grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 at New Covenant United Methodist Church, The Villages at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
