An 84-year-old Villager was ticketed following a two-vehicle collision at 5 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of St. Andrews Boulevard and Hilton Head Boulevard on the Historic Side of The Villages.
Dorothy H. Gouger told Lady Lake police that she was traveling north on St. Andrews Boulevard and made a left turn onto Hilton Head Boulevard at which point she lost consciousness. Her vehicle traveled onto the wrong side of the roadway and struck a vehicle driven by John Haraburda, 61, of North Huntingdon, Pa. There were three passengers in his car, 89-year-old John A. Haraburda and 87-year-old Dorothy J. Haraburda of The Villages, and 60-year-old Mary A. Haraburda, also of North Huntingdon, Pa.
Gouger was ticketed on a charge of driving on the wrong side of the roadway.
