A Village of Palo Alto resident is still holding out hope that her golf cart stolen last week from a Spanish Springs Town Square parking lot will be recovered.
Vivian Mary Grecco said her son took her 1998 Yamaha golf cart to Spanish Springs Town Square on the night of July 2 and parked it in the parking lot behind AM-640 WVLG. He caught a ride home with a friend that night and the next morning the golf cart was gone.
She reported the missing golf cart to Lady Lake police.
The golf cart is white and beige-and-green striped sheets, according to the Lady Lake Police Department report. It has an estimated value of $2,000.
