Paul Ryan was interviewed about his book on ABC.

Paul Ryan launched a nine-day national book tour Wednesday in Philadelphia. That book tour is heading to The Villages on Saturday.

Those hoping to meet Ryan and have him sign a copy of the book he is promoting, are being advised to be at Barnes & Noble in Lake Sumter Landing by 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Ryan is scheduled to be here at 3:30 p.m.

There will be no wristbands. Those attending will line up in the order in which they arrive, according to a spokesperson for Barnes & Noble.

A possible 2016 GOP presidential candidate, Ryan is raising his national profile with the tour for “The Way Forward: Renewing the American Idea.”

Ryan, a Congressman from Janesville, Wis., will reunite with 2012 running-mate Mitt Romney Thursday for a Chicago book signing and discussion.

In a televised interview, Ryan said the lesson of the Republican loss in the 2012 presidential election was the need for the GOP to offer Americans “a meaningful choice” on Election Day.

“This isn’t just a ‘me’ book about me, this is an ‘us’ book about how America needs to tackle its challenges,” Ryan told ABC News’ Ann Compton

Ryan made his public debut as Mitt Romney’s running mate on Aug. 18, 2012 with a rally at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square.
