An 84-year-old Villager was ticketed on a charge of failure to yield following an accident at 1:29 p.m. Aug. 22 on Rolling Acres Road near U.S. Hwy. 27/441.
Danielle L. Anderson, 26, of Weirsdale, was traveling southbound on Rolling Acres Road when a vehicle driven by Marianna Nelsen of The Villages was exiting a parking lot onto Rolling Acres Road. Nelsen’s vehicle struck Anderson’s vehicle, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
Nelsen and a passenger in her vehicle, 82-year-old Leo Nelsen also of The Villages, did not report injuries.
Anderson reported neck pain but said she would seek treatment on her own.
