September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the Sumter County Library System joins with the American Library Association and public libraries nationwide to make sure that every student has the most important school supply of all – a free library card.
Students can access free databases, attend programs, and activities
that provide an added value to the educational experience.
Libraries and librarians are on
the frontlines engaging students and making a library card an essential tool for inspiring a passion for
learning.
