The Villages Homeowners Association will sponsor a “Meet the Candidates Night” at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Lake Miona Recreation Center.
Currently there are 21 opposed candidates, from The AAC and Districts 1, and 5 thru 8. Each candidate will be provided table space in the meeting room to handout material and converse before and after the presentations.
In addition each candidate will be offered two speaking opportunities. The first totaling 5 minutes to introduce yourself and answer a question from the moderator.
After the opposing candidate(s) for the office have had the same opportunity a 3 minute period will be offered for rebuttals.
The order will be numerical by CDD/AAC, with the first speaker of the opposing candidates determined by coin toss.
