A 59-year-old Village of Alhambra man was arrested Saturday night on drug charges following a verbal altercation at his home.
A Sumter County sheriff’s deputy was called at 10:21 p.m. to Hiller’s residence on Navidad Street. While investigating, the deputy spotted a metal pipe and a small baggie containing a green leafy substance in Hiller’s bedroom. When the deputy asked to whom it belonged, Hill responded, “Yes, that is my marijuana and pipe,” the arrest report indicated.
He was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug equipment.
Hiller was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $2,000.
