William M. Morris, 76, of The Villages, FL, passed from this life, Friday, September 26, 2014. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late William and Priscilla (Horton) Morris. William was a graduate of Ohio State University and received his Masters Degree in Physics from the University of Utah. He had also served his country in the Air Force for fourteen years. William was a retired computer analyst for CSC of New Jersey. He came to The Villages from Medford, NJ in 2005. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golf. He also enjoyed his computer, possessing knowledge of them and their systems. He was most proud of his marriage to his wife Carolyn and his family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Robert Morris in 1995. William leaves his wife Carolyn (Thomas) Morris, son, Stephen M. Morris of White Bear Lake, MN, step-son, John Morris (Amber) of Utah, step-daughter, Christina Allison (James) of Stillwater, MN, a brother, Roger Morris of Lackawanna, NY and 5 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Walter Hill endowment for the Gabrielle House of Care, 4599 Worrall Way, Jacksonville, FL 32224.
