Dorothy (Dottie) Erlinger, 93, of The Villages, Florida, died September 28, 2014. Mrs. Erlinger was born in Belleville IL and moved to the Villages from Chippewa Falls, WI in 1988. She was an avid golfer, bowler, tennis and bridge player. She was a member of the Villages Singles Club and St. Timothy’s Catholic Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Wayne in 1997, and eldest son, Bruce in 2001. Survivors include her children: Peggy Gabrik (Tom), Jan Johnson (Ted), Jack Erlinger (Chris) and Kirk Erlinger (Mary), daughter-in-law Debbie Erlinger; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on October 31, 2014 at 8:30 a.m., at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in The Villages, reception following. There will be no visitation. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
