A 19-year-old woman Wildwood has been arrested on felony charges of child neglect and drug possession after her child was found living in a filthy home with no electricity.

Elizabeth Ann Anklam was arrested by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy on Tuesday afternoon at her home on County Road 230A in Wildwood.

The deputy and a Department of Children and Families investigator arrived at the home which has no electricity. They found there was no food for the child and there were dirty diapers in the crib where the child slept.

A search of the residence turned up methamphetamine residue and drug paraphernalia.

Anklam was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where she was booked on charges of child neglect, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond was set at $5,000.
