George Watson Brown, 83, of The Villages. Florida, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014. George was born in Bowmanville, Ontario Canada on November 21, 1930. Mr. Brown had worked as a purchasing manager for General Motors for over 40 years. He and his wife June lived in Noblesville, Indiana for many years before moving to Naples, Florida and finally to The Villages. George loved to volunteer and had served as President of several homeowners associations, President of Harbour Tree Golf Club, Noblesville, IN, President of Collier Automotive Museum in Naples, Fl and volunteered in set construction for the Sugden Community Amateur Theater in Naples. He enjoyed golf, billiards and woodworking. He had donated his handmade wooden toys to several charities. Preceded in death by his son Gregory and survived by his loving wife June and sister, Doreen Dean. Services for Florida are still pending. A private service and interment will take place at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Noblesville, Indiana at a later date.
